Core Values
-
Capitalism is our unfortunate reality. We all have to figure out how to survive in this unethical system. However, I refuse to spend more time working than playing, chase astronomically high profits, or prey on vulnerable people with scammy sales tactics.
-
Again, our system is cruel and it’s impossible to exist within it without harming the environment, ourselves and our neighbors. With that in mind, I always try to do the least amount of harm. That means printing on products that are ethically and sustainably sourced when possible or working with companies that share the same values.
-
A mountain is climbed one step at a time.
-
As a queer artist, this is especially close to my heart. I am careful not to partner with brands for Pride unless they are providing real value to the LGBTQIA+ community.
-
I want to live in a world where everyone is guaranteed safe housing, where every single person has free access to healthcare. I want a world that cares for people just because they exist and not for anything they "earn". What kind of world do you want to live in?
-
Stop with the ~human vs nature~ nonsense. We are nature. How would our decision-making change if we thought of the environment and other living things as an extension of us rather than a resource?
-
That 20k course is probably a waste. In my experience, most business “gurus” and coaches are perfectly content with the current capitalist system and are only concerned with drawing us into their ~sales funnel~. The more I study the “feminist” entrepreneur industry, the more I’m convinced it’s a cult led by people who don’t care about changing the white supremacist structures that already exist in our economic system. Instead, I practice informed consent with my clients and stay far away from curated vulnerability on social media.
